CHARACTERISTICS
The sand is a natural sand, which is siliceous particularly its finest fractions. It is clean, the particles are generally isometric and rounded in shape. It is dried, screened and prepared in a modern workshop which offers every guarantee in terms of quality and consistency.
The sand is packaged in a polyethylene bags each containing 1 080 ± 1 g.
Deliveries are made in boxes of 20 bags weighing 21.6 kg and in pallets of 2 to 45 boxes, suitably protected by a polyethylene cover (land transport) or reinforced boxes (shipping).
CONTROLES
The grading composition, measured by sieving, complies with the requirements of the EN 196-1 ( § 5).
This analysis are complemented by bag mass controls, water content controls and chemical analyses, in accordance with EN 196-9.
CONFORMITY
The contents of the bag (1 080 g) are CEN Standard sand which complies with standard EN 196-1.
