CHARACTERISTICS
The sand is natural siliceous sand having a water content lower than 0.1 %. The constituent grains are uncrushed and rounded form. They have a silica content higher than 98 %.
It is packadeg in polyéthylène bag of 1000 ± 10 g.
Deliveries are made in boxes of 20 bags weighing 20.5 kg and in pallets of 36 to 45 boxes with gross weight of 750 to 935 kg suitably protected by a polyethylene cover (land transport) or reinforced boxes (shipping).
CONTROLS
Grading requirement of this sand is fixed by NF T 66-061. It corresponds to 0.1/0.63. The sand average grading is:
Grading is controled by 200 kg batch of sand. Water content is measured by 1000 kg batch.
CONFORMITY
Controls are carried out by SNL Laboratory.
